6 Tips for dealing with stress and anxiety


Write down a list of what stresses you and what makes your soul jump and down with joy. You will notice the difference right away.


Eliminate stress

Carefully observe and find what pushes your stress buttons. Of course some things are unavoidable, but you may be surprised to find that many of the things that cause stress are unnecessary. Eliminate or reduce any unnecessary task that causes you to feel stressed out.


Deal with stress in your own way

Everyone deals with stress differently. Figure out what works best for you. Maybe you like to go to the gym, have a massage, book a spa weekend or even a holiday, or simply have a hot bubble bath. Do what brings you joy and what lights you up, and make sure to treat yourself right!


Listen to your body

Listen carefully to the warning signs your body is showing you. For every ache there is a cause. Make sure you know what’s causing your headache, insomnia or whatever else it may be.


Be mindful

Notice how you feel when you are feeling stressed and when you are feeling relaxed. Be mindful about how you feel in any particular moment.


Be honest with yourself and others

Always be honest about your feelings. If you are having a bad day, don’t be afraid to share your feelings with someone you can trust. It helps to get things off your chest. Don’t hide anything or wait out a conversation. Honestly share your truth with others in a loving way.


Share your personal truth

Stand your ground and be real about who you are and what you believe in. Never dim your light in order to fit in.This doesn’t seem particularly relevant here. Maybe include a brief introduction explaining why it is here, or move it to a chapter where it is more relevant
